A CLOSER LOOK
Fixed-speed screw compression for a defined production duty.
The SJ series is a direct-driven, fixed-speed rotary screw air compressor. A shaft coupling connects the screw airend to a Jiangtian asynchronous motor with IP55 protection. It has no inverter. A button controller is standard, with an optional touchscreen controller.
Size the compressor using the air-delivery value at the required pressure. In a fixed-speed installation, receiver capacity and the pattern of loading and unloading are important parts of the selection. A motor-power label by itself is not enough to compare two machines or to confirm that either will meet a production line demand.
Separate treatment and storage
A standalone layout lets you place the receiver and dryer where they fit the workshop. Check the full air flow, operating pressure and inlet temperature when selecting downstream equipment.
Configuration for your site
Confirm BAOSI airend specification, IP55 motor protection, voltage and frequency before order. Plan ventilation, electrical supply, pipe connections and service access around the actual equipment dimensions.
Thick enclosure panels and acoustic insulation
Our enclosure panels are made from thick material conforming to Chinese national standards. The rigid panels help reduce resonance and provide stable support for the enclosure. Internal thermal and acoustic insulation lining helps reduce operating noise.
Application considerations
Consider SJ equipment for general industrial pneumatic duties and established air systems with a clear demand profile. Where demand changes substantially during the day, compare a permanent magnet VSD configuration as part of the same project review.

When should I compare fixed speed with VSD?
Compare them when production demand varies or there are long periods of light air use. The choice should reflect the actual load and operating schedule, together with purchase and operating costs.
Does a standalone SJ compressor include a dryer?
Air treatment and receiver storage are specified separately for the standalone system. Confirm the equipment scope in the quotation, or consider an integrated SZ package if you want the functions combined.
What data should I send for a replacement project?
Provide the current compressor nameplate, operating pressure, known airflow, running hours and any dryer or receiver already installed. Explain whether production capacity is increasing.
Which motor-protection configuration is supplied?
The displayed SJ series is supplied with IP55 motor protection for overseas projects. Confirm voltage, frequency and installation conditions with your equipment quotation.
Can SJ be supplied with a touchscreen controller?
Yes. A touchscreen controller is available as an option in place of the standard button controller. Specify the required control configuration with your enquiry.
