MATEOU / COMPRESSED AIR

Compressed air for your application.

The right configuration starts with the work. Match pressure, airflow, air treatment and power supply to your tools, cutting process or production line.

A CLOSER LOOK

Air-system choices start with the production process.

Two factories using the same motor power may need different air systems. Required pressure, simultaneous tool use, operating hours and air quality determine the equipment duty. Start with the production-machine manuals and list the equipment that may run at the same time.

Use the examples below to prepare your enquiry. They describe common selection considerations rather than a universal equipment specification. Where compressed air can contact a product or a sensitive process, specify the required air quality for the complete system.

The screw compressors currently displayed are oil-injected industrial equipment. Food-contact, medical, dental, breathing-air and other sensitive duties require a separate review of the air use and quality requirements before equipment is proposed. A dryer or filter does not by itself make the compressor oil-free.

Metalworking and CNC

Consider pneumatic clamping, tool functions and chip removal alongside general workshop air use. Identify short peaks and simultaneous machines, then plan receiver storage and treatment to maintain the required supply at the equipment.

02 / MATEOU

Packaging and automated assembly

Production lines may combine cylinders, actuators and intermittent air jets. Provide the machine demand, cycle pattern and daily operating hours. Review variable speed operation where line loading changes during a shift.

03 / MATEOU

Automotive spray painting and body shops

Car spray painting, automotive refinishing and pneumatic tools have different air demands. Size compressor air delivery for the spray guns and tools running together, then match drying and filtration to the required moisture, oil and particle limits at the paint booth.

Product spray painting and woodworking

Spray finishing of furniture, metal parts and manufactured products requires stable pressure and controlled air quality. Share the spray-gun air consumption, number of operators and coating requirements. Select air drying, condensate drainage and suitable filtration alongside workshop tools and clamping equipment.

05 / MATEOU

Laser cutting

Send the laser equipment pressure, airflow and air-quality requirements. Higher pressure requires a compatible treatment train and distribution system. Match the package to the actual cutting duty and the pressure required at the cutter.

Moisture-sensitive processes

Instrumentation and other moisture-sensitive duties may require a defined pressure dew point. Review desiccant drying, appropriate filtration and regeneration requirements. Product-contact applications need their own air-quality specification.

COMMON QUESTIONS

More detail before you decide.

What if I do not know the required airflow?

Send the production-machine models or manuals and describe which machines run together. A current compressor nameplate and an explanation of any pressure problems also help the selection discussion.

Can one air station serve several areas?

Yes, provided the total demand, pipework, pressure losses and air-treatment requirements are evaluated together. Include the site layout and the distance to the most demanding points of use.

Should I allow for future expansion?

Tell us which equipment may be added and when. A practical expansion plan considers compressor capacity, receiver storage, dryer duty, pipework and electrical supply together.

Are the displayed screw compressors oil-free?

The currently displayed screw-compressor series use oil-injected compression. For food, pharmaceutical, medical, dental or other sensitive duties, tell us whether the air contacts a product or people and provide the required air-quality limits. We review these requirements before recommending equipment.

How do I choose an air compressor for spray painting?

For automotive spray painting or product finishing, provide the spray-gun air consumption and working pressure, the number of guns used together and daily operating hours. The paint or equipment supplier should specify acceptable moisture, oil and particle limits. We review compressor air delivery, dryer capacity and filtration together; additional oil-vapour treatment is selected where the coating process requires it.

Not sure which compressor fits?

Describe the tools or process, working hours, power supply and installation environment. If you have a machine manual, share its compressed air requirements with your enquiry.

MATEOU / EQUIPMENT FINDER

Let's find your air solution.

Enter what you know. Leave unknown values blank. The displayed screw compressors are oil-injected; sensitive air-quality applications need a separate review.

Working pressure optional

bar · psi · MPa · kPa · kgf/cm² · mbar
Use gauge pressure, measured above atmospheric pressure.

Required compressed air flow optional

m³/min · CFM · L/min · m³/h · L/s · m³/s
Use the equipment air demand on a free-air basis. Do not enter the volume flowing inside a pressurised pipe.

Initial catalogue matches. Final selection also depends on duty cycle, air quality, power supply and installation conditions.
